Morning all one more day at the villa.

As I was typing the last 'witty' comment, i saw something move on my shoulder, something dark with many legs. Smacked it as fast as I could, got it. Ah Oregon.

Since we're on the subject of Spiders , I just walked outside and found another very large Desert Wolf Spider in my front yard

I'm telling you, the exterminator is planting them.

Just got a finger wagging from HR after they received a grievance about me. Yesterday morning, two female operators were literally yelling at each other for a few minutes over our current political state. So when colorful language started to fly, I went over to them (they were about 60-75 feet away from my cubicle) and told them: "Stop, enough of this political discussion. I don't really care what side you are on the political aisle. You want to continue, take it outside off of company property. Right now, you're here to work so get back to it." They stopped and I went back to work. One of them left the assembly line for a healthy 45 minutes...

So I get talked to... I'm a manager and don't get any support from HR. Go figure.

End of rant. Thank you...

 

And that matters to the folks in the rarefied air not a bit at least not here in this place. When I did real work yeah nothing dangling , no jewelry etc except med alert . I can tell you when I was in school the teachers were required to wear a tie even the shop side . One got his caught leaning over to check a drill job on his Harley disc brakes being done by a student. They all tucked them behind their blue shop coats lol If you remember them anyhow he leaned forward it slipped out got caught and the guy drilling was quick enough to hit stop and grabbed the chuck and stopped it. No idea why they weren't clip ons ... Ours are but still they make a great garrote tool ...

Nice cause I am sure you said things that you didn't say but since she was the first to report they believe that side regardless.. These days body cameras aren't just for cops anymore. But oh of course HR and legal would have to approve the use of them as they record video and audio... I feel your pain :{

If your government believes that the best way to eradicate trillions of dollars of debt is to spend trillions more, you live in a country run by idiots.

If a seven year old boy can be thrown out of school for saying his teacher is cute, but hosting a sexual exploration or diversity class in grade school is perfectly acceptable, you live in a country run by idiots.

If hard work and success are met with higher taxes and more government intrusion, while not working is rewarded with EBT cards, WIC checks, Medicaid, subsidized housing and free cell phones, you live in a country run by idiots.

If the government's plan for getting people back to work is to incentivize NOT working with 99 weeks of unemployment checks and no requirement to prove they applied but cannot find work, you live in a country run by idiots.

If being stripped of the ability to defend yourself makes you more safe according to the government, you live in a country run by idiots.

If you are offended by this article, I'll bet you voted for the idiots who are running our great country into the ground.
