    Same as everybody else...
Morning everybody, I spent the morning herding a couple of tree frogs that managed to find there way into my basement. I'm guessing my grandkids may have had something to do with that. Well I hope you'll have a safe day and enjoy the weekend.

Thanks Jim. It was a good trip, gorgeous weather although extremely hot by AK standards; we did most our fishing at night.

Good morning 50's. Glad you east-coasters made it through the weather alright, we get record heat and have a big wildland fire burning. I am on call this weekend so can't get to involved in anything in case I have to go in, but there are always plenty of small tasks to take care of. @CVYota- I did pick up that used Softopper, $250. Very happy with it, just need to pick up a magnet for the rear tailgate flap. I have a part number from McMaster-Carr. I did not want to put velcro on my paint. I am thinking of rigging a shade tarp off the side using the exsisting buckles as attachment points.

Great price, I like the idea about the shade I hadn't thought about the buckles, that is a great idea. I am going to steal it and call it my own.

    Good Morning everyone !!

It is already warm @ 0730 , it is 85 deg right now and the sun is very bright and low in the horizon just above the mtns , even at 0600 the sun was very bright . With the AC set at 72 degrees there sunlight thru the bedroom window was enough to wake me up

This extreme warm weather is not good as the already very dry brush and extreme drought conditions raise the fire danger ten fold . Just like Mtn Mike mentioned up in Santa Barbara county the huge Sherpa fire is now grown to 7k acres with very little containment

Here's the temps for my area thru Wednesday next week . Since I've lived here for 10 years what they predict for temps it's always +5 degrees warmer than forecasted

These are the temps the weather forecasters predict but should be much warmer

    Today 102 degrees

    Sunday 110 degrees

    Monday 115 degrees

    Tuesday 110 degrees

Washed and waxed the Taco and detailed the interior. The wife guilt tripped me into washing and waxing her Sante Dr, now my arms feel like they're about to fall off.

Temp dropped last night and about the time I got my shoes on to walk the girls - the sky opened up... oh, well. Temp was nice for our morning walk.

nice haul on the fish Rob

Hope everyone stays safe and out of fire danger USMarine.

:anonymous: went out and yelled at the guys cutting the neighbors grass (wasn't feeling well this morning is my excuse and I"m sticking to it!!!) when they cut around the utility boxes on my side.... They SCALP the grass down to the dirt and now no grass grows there
