Mine went over $100 this year. That is over 25% increase:eek: Still lower than most. They're having trouble figuring out where the money is going to come from for road repair/improvement. Maybe tolls for the foreigners using our roads:D

According to the vice cop down the road there's still a bunch. The better ones move around to stay ahead of Johnny Law.

Just looked those up, holy cow where have you been all my life?! It can keep food warm after it is cooked and I'm held up at work. And do a delayed start on frozen food both things a crock pot can't do. My crock pots may be gathering dust soon.

In the meantime the son decided he would go low carbs with me. In fact he brought it up. No better time to start than now. With Prime Ribeye.

Yours is a "dry" heat. I see those 115 degrees in the summer everyday down there on the intranet. No thanks dry or not. But 99 East of the Missouri River is a lot hotter than West of it.

In the 70's not many people in the North that I knew had AC. When it first went in it was older people and it would be in the 80's and 80% humidity or higher and they never turned it on. Screw that it hits 80 in my house it is coming on. Don't think we hit 90 here this year and I am OK with that. 3 weeks spring, 3 weeks fall, and 3 weeks piss poor sledding is about the norm.

For me 62-65.5 is 40K a year difference. Guess I'm working until 65.5 67 is even more but screw that it isn't that much more.

 Hope your doing OK now Jeff and that things are better for you!

ANDRA followed with NHRA in the Junior Dragster program , The Junior Dragster's are a way a young driver can gain experience and work their way up the competition ladder

This program which allows kids as young as 8 yrs old to kids 16 yrs old to drive these cars and the program has been around over 20 yrs

The cars are replicas of the larger rear engine dragsters in drag racing and are powered by 50 to 75hp Briggs and Stratton motors . They have different HP levels for the different age groups . Speeds range from 68mph for 8 yr olds to 80mph for the older kids . These cars only run to the 1/8th mile and run low to mid 7 seconds in that distance

Here's a vid of Jr Dragster

    O.K.
Something to remember, that humidity acts as a blanket and makes it feel hotter than it is. But it also filters some of the suns rays too. Have you ever been outside when it was so hot, and the sun was beating down so hard, that your skin actually hurt?
Something you have to remember about a "dry heat". A blast furnace is "dry heat" also.

A lot of racing organizations are developing racing classes for younger kids as a ladder into the faster classes

Here's a Junior Pavement Late Model from Madera Speedway in central Calif . The age limit for these cars are 8yrs old to 16yrs old

Here's a in car of a 10 yr old Late Model driver

Yep most of my 20 years in the Navy was around the Equator including the Gulf. I was a pit snipe one of those guys that needed a shipmate on either side to help guide walking for the first half hour because couldn't see from the intensity of the sun. And lived on 60 cycle sunlight most of the time so takes awhile to adapt. Been a lot of places like that.

But nothing beats +140* in the pit with almost 100% humidty for days on end. Wait Sundays we only had to work 12 hours for Holiday Routine.

What feels warm or cold depends on the time of year. In march, 50 feels down right balmy however in September, 50 feels friggin cold. We get climatized to what ever the temperature is after a while. September is my favourite month for temperatures as it cools to 75 with no humidity and no bugs. (That's Fahrenheit) Right now, I wish I was in Texas cause it's friggin cold outside!

Don't want to push the wrong one. I am in the fixing field and I probably would do fine, after a learning curve. I get to go to customer sites and have them look over my shoulder. That's when I disassemble everything and start swearing until they go away.
I always thought of myself as a left of center snowflake. I couldn't commit to being a hippie or a communist.

    Small useful for me stuff.
Have you thought about running the feeder on a relay or contactor? That would use the timer as the control and the heavier load of the motor would have its own fuse.
