Strange season in the shotgun area I hunt.
2nd Saturday, beautiful out, and one other vehicle besides my friend's and my truck.
Nothing seen today. Maybe i'll go Monday or Tuesday and then back to the archery thing.

And they have the Zeiss Victory 8x56 Rangefinder at $1,700 off, hmmm... Looks like Vortex Optics is going to take over warranty for Eagle Optics although the address is the same for both. Hope Vortex is doing OK.

Lot of white squirrels in Brevard, NC. They even have an annual parade for them each year LOL. They are a true white squirrel and not an albino. Yeah strange critters.

One upstairs near the sliding glass door to the deck and one at the door in the garage. Both .22 pellet guns one with a Burris scope the other with a Vortex. Every time I shoot one I swear another 2 move in. One in the attic right now can't tell if it is a red or gray. So they all get the same treatment when I see them. The .22 pellet gun is almost as loud as a .22 rifle but that works OK here. The payload just doesn't go as far. And drops them dead. Damn reds don't like to sit still though grays almost feel guilty they are so easy to shoot. There is that squirrel in the attic again, no I don't feel guilty at all.

Yeah I thought I had it figured out where they were getting in and been a couple of years since they have been up there. But those reds will chew through chimney brick, flashing, doesn't seem to matter. Little red honey badgers. With my knees whacked right now don't feel safe getting up on the roof. And should be checking the snowblower out and getting the last of the leaves up. But as Kevin said I think there is some football on the idiot tube today.

Those damn critters moved into my wood shed that is 1/4 full of wood and the remaining as equipment storage. They scurry around behind the wood anytime you get close. I'm sure there's an entire platoon in there know as I haven't been out in the yard for the last month.

They better look out because they are going to see what it's like to have a 2 stroke quad started and left running in there for an hour...
