    Wow what a day. So I went out with the crossbow to this morning saw three squirrels. Two were in the trees and had no inkling to come to the ground. Saw a nice one and start stocking him. Got in position and had my crosshairs on him and he went behind a stump. I waited for him to come out the other side and he never did, SHIT LOL.

    Took my bow to this old archery guy. Small little pro shop and all sorts of equipment. He’s gonna make me some new cables with this high-performance stuff. I guess it will not stretch and last 100,000 draws. I never really liked the rest I had on my bow. I couldn’t walk without it falling off the rest. Made it very uncomfortable for me for a quick draw. So I bit the bullet and I’m getting him to install a fall away rest. Was a complete tuneup the new parts about 290 bucks. A lot better than 700 or 800 for a new bow. I always check my equipment. And it’s a good thing I did. Because if I had pulled that back to full draw It wouldn’t of been good. I did hurt my pinky a little bit but that’s fine. The guy said my bow was like a tank. So I’ll see how it shoots in a couple of weeks

    He says looks good . The limbs are tested for dry fire. It wasn’t really a dry fire. I was just checking the wheels etc. had like a 30% draw on it.

    Didn't find anything I couldn't live without at the swap meet. Survived a trip to the mall. Headed to Chuck E Cheese later with the kids. Never made it to work (yet). I'll probably go tomorrow. Sunday at the office should be good and quiet.

    I got a good start on building a set bunks for hauling brush yesterday for my tiltbed trailer. By the end of the day Monday I'll have them built up enough to take off the trailer and finish on the concrete slab. Getting them started on the trailer gave me a good place to work and made it easier to build them to the trailer's dimensions. Since they are wider than the trailer, they'll never go down the road legally (at least without a wide load sign). But I'm building them for a specific location and that's pretty much where they'll stay and it's all off highway.

    Isn't it funny how the older crewe wants to have their own equipment to do things with unlike a most of the youngsters right @Tacoma Mike ...Speaking of equipment how is your heart after the bow snap ?

    I used to get 50 cents a red , 25 cents a chipmunk grays were not around that much. They are all cute and fuzzy till they chew their way into the soffits and run around in the attic. I got really good with my trusty Daisy 880 powerline .. still have it too and it still works :}

    That's a blast from the past. After my dad retired from the military he became a small engine mechanic. I remember an old Jonsered at the shop he worked at. He was a staunch Homelite man and that was that.

    They were the big boys on the block up in the woods , stihl was way to expensive back then and not even sure they were around. Jonsered and Partner saw a few Homelite an McCulloch around. Dad's Jonsered had a 30" bar on it and he had Partner with 24" forget what size it was though. The Jonsered sounded like an unmuffled dirt bike engine and was loud even 30 feet away lol.

    I think Homelite may have been the first one man American saw. It may have been the XL12 (12 LBS) and it was a blue saw.
