As long as the 210 eastbound is open there's plenty of real estate to get clear of it.

Wow !! , they're showing the main front of the Creek Fire up in the Kagle / Lopez canyons with flames 50' -75' tall and chewing up acreage quickly

Also listening to a news update of the Creek Fire , they just said weather reports stating 80 plus mph winds by tonite in/ around the Creek Fire area

The national news had coverage. Wow! Feel so bad for those that have lost/will loose their homes. My niece is in the LA area. So far with the wind direction, she is ok.

Just found a very detailed map of the Creek Fire but can't link it to here

Google kagle Canyon and you'll get a Google map view of the Evac zone and burn map

Andy's city La Crecenta looks to be 5 plus miles south /southeast from the Eastern edge of the Evac zone . Now if the fire blows up tonight as expected with 80mph winds and predicted path towards La Canada / Flintridge then La Crecenta is in Danger

News footage just showed some massive Fire Nados near Kagle Canyon

I just heard back from Andy a few minutes ago, he said they're fine the fire is actually travelling away from them but with the winds supposed to be picking back up tonight

That's good to hear but still unsure of the hurricane force 80mph winds tonite which will dictate were that fire will travel

Google Kagle canyon and you'll get a Google map of the Evac area . if you scroll east you'll see Andy's town which is La Crecenta

Also look at La Canada / Flintridge , this is the projected path of the fire tonite

Local news weather report shows extremely strong damaging winds that will start around 2100 hrs and hit the San Gabriel's very hard

Even my area up in the Hi Desert will be seeing 30-40mph winds around 2100 hrs

Kinda the good thing is a lot of that country is straight up and down and they can't build on all of it or it'd be worse.
