Good evening all! I hope all in CA are ok and out of harms way. I guess we'll have to see if our resident Queen lures any more young men in here, like flies to honey her beauty must be legendary

    Evening all.

Oh the joys of raising a teenage daughter... The bantering via iMessage just drives me up the wall.

On the plus side, I'm going to be 1/2 days for the rest of the year.

Ok I just didn't like the idea of it protruding from the sides it just looked like something that could easily get snagged on things

Well it seems like everyone is stopping in I think I have an interesting way to have some laughs..
Short story during all the my medical stuff that started last year I had to have some test done locally at a hospital I despise for personal reasons. Said hospital has screwed up billing me in the past on several occasions so I stopped using their labs unless I had to for my convenience. I apparently had some test done I say some test as they have as of yet been able to tell me what test it was. They can tell me the date Oct 10 2016 but that is it . Why you may wonder if they know the date and not the test?? Yeah their computer system threw a hissy fit some time also in the past year so they know I owe them a copay not for what.

I received the first bill for this test 15 Nov 2017, as I am want to do I read bills before just paying them (10.00) money is well money . The bill does not state for what test just the date and oh if the test was done longer then 60 days ago they may not be able to accept insurance information for payment.. I call and get the rest of the story as stated above . After an hour of them sticking to the script of yes you owe us 10 dollars sorry we can not tell you what for and no it has been over 10 months so we will not resubmit it to insurance / VA . To which I replied well you can't tell me what test and you waited 10 months to send me a bill so I will not be paying the bill till you can prove I even had a test on that date. And hung up. I would have thought I was pretty clear apparently not.

I received the exact same bill today again no explanation of test , same 60 days insurance warning. So .. And here is the laughs part :

Do I call them and set up a payment plan ( not sure they will but they want to be idiots well I will cost them more than 10 dollars sending me a bill every month for 11 months the same amount of time they waited to bill me:} works out to about .91 cents a month which I will drop off at the local hospital on my way by in pennies.

Do I just send them a dollar check once a month I know it costs me the stamp but don't care they will have to process it etc and send me bill for the remainder .

I have thought of taping 1000 pennies to sheets of thin cardboard and send it return receipt to their billing office. They tell you not to send money through the mail but there is not law against it unless you are mailing it out of country, state for illegal purposes.

I could just mail a dollar a month in too but not near as fun as a the pennies lol

SO anyone else have a good idea ? I know it is juvenile and nope don't care, I know it may cost me a few bucks more then the 10 dollars again don't care one way or the other I will cost them more then the amount they say I owe lol.

You talking about the top plate or the lower C channel . The top plate there is nothing for it, it has to setup a little for wiring runs etc.

$10.00 in pennies loose in a box sent to the billing office. Send it to them without a return address on the box. That'll get them thinking. I'm sure they don't get many packages in the billing office...

Another possibility is to go to the billing office and pay them in pennies and ask for a receipt.

I like the penny idea. Drop off 100 pennies a month. Make them work for it. Don't forget to ask for a receipt. And while they are counting the pennies get your phone out and visit TW.

Got my Camaro back from the Race car chassis fab shop , this is part #1 of the many changes I'm doing to it . This is the new aluminum bulkhead / package tray and its much better than previous and now can legally run a fuel cell in the trunk

After I come back from vacation I'll have new aluminum door panels and updates to the cage including new Kirkey seats

I say tell them to go pound sand. Surely they will not send a bill for ten dollars to collections?
