Here's a better pic of the aluminum panels over the rear bulkhead

The shop owner said my door panels will have the same bead roll patterns

Nice detail work what material and yes I know it is alum what alloy and hardness? It appears they used pull through pop rivets or self sealing bulb style ? I cant blow the picture up with out it being fuzzy . I wonder why not cherry max or cherry lock less chance of shear and wear . If you get by there again I would be curious.

All I know is it is thick gauge sheet metal required by NHRA when a fuel cell is mounted inside the trunk

That is cool just wondering I have done some cars nothing that elaborate and long ago . Never had a rule book it was all street / weekend warrior strip . Perhaps if you can find the specs in your books link them some time.

Just checked the NHRA Rulebook and it states the rear bulkhead must be .042 thick

    Good Morning.
Mid-20's here and ready to head out in a few. Back in the Bow area. It's been slow this week.
The deer are back to being nocturnal now that the rut is over.
Snow coming tomorrow...wish it was a week ago.
A few more sits...then vacation in done.

Yep 29 here with 7 mph wind. So it will be 6 or 7 degrees colder over the hill. Gonna be cold changing into hunting clothes @ the cabin- no fire built. Good luck.
