A jar full of pennies so they have to count, the sharper ones will just weigh them, but I doubt they'll do that before reaching 500. They have to accept it "legal tender for all debts public and private". You have to do this in person to get the full effect.

Y'all,,,,just wait till January when it' 10-20 below zero. That's when 22 degrees is a heat wave. When you go fishing you drive out to your spot, drill a hole and sit in your truck and fish. Don't forget to take a Weber grill and cook on the ice.

    See anything?
I haven't seen any for the last 3 days in the bow spot except for one in back of me this morning when it was still dark o'clock.:notsure:
Seems they've gone nocturnal since the rut as they tore up a large area last night about 100 yards from my stand.
Think I'll get in there tomorrow morning before light and see if they're moving before the snow storm.:blahblah::pray::goingcrazy:

My boy busted a flathead about nine thirty. Four little one flew past me about the same time. Bucks are not moving unless pushed then doubling back around. Smart. One more day of rifle hoping to see the one I am after in the am. After we were done skinning cooked off a couple small ends of loin and eggs. Nothing better.

Hoping my bow will be finished before next weekend. Snow this weekend and working so no great loss.
Just want to throw a few down range and see how that new rest works.
    Still time for you.
Tomorrow is last day for anything deer..
So next year I'll get my extended license.
Then I'll have everything except for black powder..

Don't remind me, trying not to think about it. Used to shoot Blizzard League against Wi. starting with the Redeye shoot Jan. 1 for a couple of months. Shot in a blizzard more than once with scorers sitting in a running truck and twenties below zero and windchills in the 40's below. And hard to see if you hit the bird or not when the wind is blowing snow sideways. Just don't have it in me anymore.

Ya come April 20's above zero is time to celebrate and take a layer of clothes off. And you know your in Mn. or Wi. then when your ice fishing and someone crowds your spot. In a boat.

Warm water discharge from a power plant on the Mississippi starts to open channels by then.

Ouch! That is cruel. Funny as hell but mean, I like it LOL.

I'd like to hunt with my Flinter, but the nearest place I have access to is over an hour away.
That's the problem with this area.
So an hour's drive or 12 minutes to my archery spot.
    Easy choice.:notsure:

Out in the garage with salamander going.
Going through final, prep for first storm.
After the heat stableizes I'll start up the blowers.
As of now I'm listening to the salamander bark, the radio blasting, and goofing off on here.
    Ye haaaa
