    Nice looking piece the bobbed hammer is good for concealed , the serrations on the hammer may be a concern along with the square backed front sight. Concealed has 3 parts weapon, holster and clothing. If you can't handle the weapon with out special care of hand placement etc it is not the weapon for conceal carry, if you can't find a holster that is comfortable to you and your style of dress ie looser pants , untucked shirt or over shirt It is not for conceal carry, if your clothing has soft linings or is made of a material that will catch it is not for conceal carry. Ideally a conceal weapon will have rounded edges, solid no slip grip, low profile round edged 3 dot sights either plain or glow in the dark ( glow in the dark being the preferred) , weight under a 1.5 lb ( I usually can spot anyone carrying by the way they walk or how much they adjust their clothing) . The weapon should be of sufficient caliber to do it's job with 1 / 2 shots it's job is to STOP the problem not necessarily permanently stop the problem. A 6 shot min ( derringers are a whole other convo) how many more rounds is what you are comfortable with. Mind you many fired rounds in a gun fight do not connect. Shooting at a moving target that is shooting back is quite a bit different then putting holes in paper, to over come this somewhat you practice , practice , practice oh and practice muscle memory is a good thing. Mag changes in a gun fight are a rare event so let that be your guide. YMMV

    When you first practice with a semi make sure you get extra mags and use snap caps to practice drawing, firing, cycling etc at least a 100 times. Move to blanks for the next set though still dangerous not near as much chance of shooting your self in your hand , foot, thigh ( yes it has happened) . Once you have that process down move to blanks but toss in a few snap caps (best to have someone else put them so you never know). This is to practice failure to fire recovery or Tap and rack practice (Tap Mag then rack slide) you can jamb a semi with limp wristing , hand position ( to high on the grip easy to do on a compact in a rush) etc. Oh and practice strong hand draw and fire and weak hand both supported and unsupported get a chance check out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=li0rGtXh23I CQB shooting is NOT aiming for a ten ring it is get rounds down range and on target some where.

    I am not a professional trainer and I am not you, you will need to figure this stuff out for yourself and as always YMMV . :}

    Get her a pink holster, carrying a brightly colored weapon makes you a great target. If it is a fun range gun only yeah go for it make it rainbow colored if she wants. :}

    My wife keeps a eagle eye on our accounts! Last time when her card got hacked she caught it within a day, the bank had already stopped transactions on her card. She got a new card in a couple days. Nobody got anything!:bananadance:

    When I asked her about a gun, it was just a round about way of getting a new gun for me. I would let her shoot it.

    I know you’re more experienced than me and have given me a few tips thank you. But try finding 380 around during the next ammo run.

    Get whatever suits you for carry. I’d rather carry a bigger caliber than 380. But that’s me.

    But I’ve also hit bowling pins at 100yards with it. No scope.

    I always carry TP in the truck, a habit from growing up. We called it mountain money as a kid. You might be a redneck if...

    And you know where the hell all your tools, pots and pans, plates & glasses, etc. are!

    Youngest 27 moved back in 2 months ago. The oldest 30 is getting divorced and leaving Apple Computer and chasing more money. Told him he could also land here until until he gets his feet under him if need be when his lease expires in January. They both have rather severe medical issues one physical and the other mental. And I was ready to start dating again, ugh so much for that. But neither one asked for the problems that they have and it isn't from anything they did.

    Another damn Christmas tree! And looks really good she did a great job. You all have me thinking tomorrow I might dig out some things in the Christmas boxes and put up a few things. I really should. After I double check that the snowblower still runs, not falling for that one again this year. Once a week until needed.

    And your a good Dad who loves and supports your children. When Hillary returns to us in February she'll have absolutely nothing and will depend on us until she can find a job and get her feet back under her. While I completely blame her for this it's still my job to make dure she's ok

    It's not the best round but a .22 will kill a lot of stuff. .380's have taken out a lot of gang bangers in L.A. so I'm sure it's plenty capable. She's just gotta hit 'em.

    I like my .40 cal personally but she doesn't really care for it so we'll try this.
