Yea it didn’t want to get into the blower very well. On the grass was better but the drive had a 3 foot cow catcher

I pushed a chunk of old neoprene down in mine to stop it from going in too deep.

Knives I can add to the conversation.
I know I might have posted about these but what the hell.
The bottom use to be mine way way way long ago before I "stopped hunting"
I gave it to my boy.
Well the day we went out for the first time ever together he gave it back to me and said it needed to be with the rightful owner. The tears just flowed.

The top I had stuffed away somewhere and thought I lost it.
Carma was cool as I needed a knife to go out again.
Found it in the fuel tank part of my boat. Why it was there I have no idea.
So I cleaned it up, sharpened it up, and bought another sheath for it.
Was going to use it as primary but not now.

It is very common in the North as studded tires are only allowed for certain months of the year and is cheaper and easier on tires and rims to just have a second set. If you are in an area where you might have to use chains instead of studs you will destroy nice rims with a set of chains. I can see the second set also for off road but only as from what I understand the of road stuff is stiffer rubber and heavier so if you have a long drive to work and such no sense in paying for the extra gas. To each their own as the saying goes. If I was up home I would have a set of steelies with nokian studded tires, but that is way up country if you live in the city a decent set of snows would do you well.
