    Here in WI studded tires are not allowed on roads, they use to be a long time ago. With my truck I have to put my stock rims back on. The Ray10s collect water in the lip. That freezes and wheel balance problems could happen. By next winter I want to have a complete 2nd set.

    Wow I wonder how long it took them to do that many people I am sure had them there , I have been to WI , Medford /Eau Claire area in the fall not winter. Out on those county trunk roads I figured it was like up north in Maine limited plowing etc lol

    I can remember when I was a kid helping my dad pulling studs out. The road I live on is a township road and the only place they salt/sand is at stop signs. Sometimes after the plows come through we don't see the road surface for a week. Just drive slow.
