Eighteen degrees and the wind is howling. Does wonders for my knee. Wondering how many calls I will get today for kids being cold in my dorms. Some will have their windows open, some will have their stat set to a.c., some will just have their unit not turned on at all. Not complaining, keeps me in a job....

Just finished inventory count in the yard at work. Single numbers wind chill. Glad I'm not in the bucket anymore.

Seems it’s 125$ for two 3m wheels. May try something cheaper underneath to experiment

:pccoffee: 28* and no wind this morning feels balmy. Couple of weeks ago would have felt cold. Was single digits when I went to bed.

Upon starting my truck this morning, the indicator light for low tire pressure is lit. I scroll through parameters in the dash unit to see no air pressure reading, just yellow boxes. Roughly two minutes later, readings come up, 30#s all around. Yesterday on my drive home from work I had 37#. I blame this on the cold weather and start my drive to work, monitoring pressures. I have about a 16 mile drive to work and about a mile out the yellow boxes turn normal one at a time when they reach 33#s. Front two changed, back two did not as the rear tires never made it above 32#. Actually kind of a neat system. Hate to overfill tires, might just add 3#. Before fall set in I was @ 39-40#.

56 deg, slight breeze, sipping coffee, headed toward the door in about 15 minutes. The state engineer want to meet in Quartzsite so I can show him the scope of the project and why we need to replace the entire rv septic dump/screens/traps/leech field and fresh water supply. He gets the "how", people just don't understand the why. Our current operation was built in the 60's (?) and it was designed for much smaller campers. 20-30 gallon septic and gray water tanks. Now they are pushing 95 gallons on the bigger rigs. By next month the top of the field will be on the verge of flowing. Right now it should be soft enough to leave a pretty good indent when you walk over the top. I've already put a containment burm on the lower end to catch/slow it up if it does blow out. We probably have 35 to 50 rvs dumping in a 12 hour period. This time next month it'll be double that for about 25 days straight.

Take some pictures , try 4 (0) steel wool and oil , it will require a lot of elbow grease and time but cheaper maybe depends on your point of view. Is it scratched up or just hazed ?

Scratched mainly around bowl repair but then dingy all over. Needs a cleaning with bar keepers friend to get hard water stains off.

Funny as it may sound, when we come off the summer 100+ qnd finally drop down in the 60-70 range I have to air up the tires for winter. April/May I usually have to adjust them back down as they'll be 5-10 lbs over and ride like a buckboard.
