It was a pretty good day. Had to go north, dropped all the way down to 49 deg and all the way up to 74 and not a cloud anywhere.

 

Were those the coordinates or the temps?

4 decks down inside the Missouri in the Engineering section

 

Bed time. Gotta start digging the backfill out of a retaining wall tomorrow. After the initial build, someone used pea gravel between the stack blocks and the cut-bank and the rains pushed the pea gravel down thus pushing the stack block out and now the top of the wall is pushed out and close to collapse. So I'm going to attempt to dig out the pea gravel, part of the cut-bank and push the block back into place, re-backfill the gap with a different material and compact it with the vibratory plate.

 

Those kinda remind me of the Midway in San Diego.

 

Had a lot of fun today on the below deck tour of the USS Missouri !!

Was able to get inside Turret #1 all the way down 4 decks below to view the entire Turret where they stowed the powder bags to were they stored the shells

Also was able to get into the Engineering section where the Broadway walk was . Also got access to Boiler room #4 and Turbine /shaft #4 was located and finally into the plotting room


Also got a laugh at the Art work of the 1990-91 Screw Crew on Top of shaft #4 turbine
