Reminds me of that Seinfeld episode where Kramer was running the movie theater and there was a single hot dog in the cooker for an eternity...

Party #2 went better, 6 of us at dinner, our annual Christmas get together. Drank 2 large margs and ate some carne asada. It was at the old Misson inn in riverside decorated nicely.

First sleep just under 4 hours and here I am wide awake coming up on midnight, I like working the mid-shift, but sometimes the sleep pattern on my days off frustrates me.

@Kolunatic , we’re at 60 lbs from tenderloins, backstraps, neck meat, ribs, brisket, and flanks; so I think 150 to 200 lbs is a good guess total, probably closer to the 150 side.
She was probaly a 500 to 600 pound animal, so 1/3 of that is what we generally end up with processed, in the ballpark of any way.

    Follow-up to yesterday’s “technology topic” ...

I sincerely miss my Motorola Tundra flip phone, I think I carried it from around 2007 or 2008 until 2012. That was probably my favorite period of technology level...I felt like the cell phone and the computer were still decent tools over which I had control. Once I went Iphone (smart phone) in 2012, this trend of feeling the technology hinders me as much as it helps started ...
    o_O

But pay no mind to the insomniac rumblings of a grumpy old bastard luddite.

Nice decorations. Glad you had a good time.

... 6 is an acceptable size “crowd” for me too. ;)

Thank you, Rob. I haven't made any boxes. That is a $5 gift box I purchased. I pass them on at cost.
