    Good evening 50's!

Update on my not so easy "easy projects" that I started 3 days ago. Now I have a bunch of half done projects...

"I have a bunch of easy or partially done projects on the truck that need to get finished the next couple days in preparation for July 29 Toyota Takeover:"

    1. Electrical - Blue Seas fuse box from aux battery. Need to penetrate firewall to bring 6AWG into cab. - waiting for 100 AMP Bussman Breaker, arriving Tuesday
    2. ABS Kill Switch Mod - hopefully my switch arrives today - Switch arrived. Didn't find time to do this yet.
    3. Cobra 75 WXST CB Radio - antenna and coax already done last week. Need to finish CB unit install and connect to the new fuse box - still need to solder connector to coax cable, connect to power, install mic holder, SWR it.
    4. ARB Portable air - already installed into an old pistol case. Waiting for Amazon parts deliveries for plumbing. Got most of my parts. Still waiting for Milton Hi Flow female air connector
    5. Get the ST-Maxx 255's mounted onto my wheels. Mounted Friday, on my way home and the steering wheel violently shakes and shimmys at 40 mph. Found out that the tire pressures were 55-60 psi and the the lug nut torque's were over 100 ft-lbs. Damn. Why can't these tire shops do it right the first time? Went back yesterday to get them rebalanced and an alignment. Alignment still feels off.
    6. Adjust spare tire infrastructure under truck to allow the larger tires. Took 3 hours over 2 days. It was a SOB to take the four bolts off the tire hoist. Needed to go to Sears to get 6 point 12 mm wrench and 12 mm ratcheting wrench. PB Blaster and cheater bar helped a lot.
    7. Tailpipe chop while I'm underneath the truck. Done. THE ONLY THING DONE!!!

Happy Independence Day everyone! The weather is not cooperating here, rain this afternoon and evening in the forecast. I did something to my back yesterday so I'm laid out on a heating pad, I hope y'all have a safe day.

Just a reminder they have those ceramic beads to put in tires for balancing. In fact I think the company is in New York. That might be the way to go with that size tire Lloyd. Crom uses them and has great results.
