Well guess what. eBay master cylinders made in China for 88 Polaris quads don't fit after all... Wrong thread for the hose. Go figure.

My new catch phrase Im going to be using in most of my posts for awhile will be brave new world. Most of you will get what I am talking about.
For instance I just found out that now I have all kinds of hoops to jump through to get my needed govt. documents to go to work for this new company. Also, It is going to cost me in the neighborhood of 300 dollars. The crazy thing is, it might take up to a month to get it back. Thank you govt.
But this is the brave new world we live in.
And it appears that when it comes to Trump easing regulations, that doesn't count for the trucking industry.
    Yea.
So now I have a boss that doesn't want to waste time giving me loads because he knows I am quitting, and I can't quit yet because I don't have the needed govt. clearance to go to work for the new outfit yet.

Up at 3:30 this morning to take kid 150 miles to Court for arrangement for a traffic incident. He tested positive for an anti anxiety drug which he had a prescription for. 0.00 Alcohol and charge of DUI.

Told him to make sure he had the prescription with him. Did he? Hell no Dad doesn't know shit. He asked the prosecutor if he had a prescription would that make a difference, duh. The prosecutor's eyes got big and he said oh that changes everything. Can't fix stupid ugh. Jan. 30 at 1 PM he is supposed to go back. And I took off work today why?! Told him it is a long damn walk... yeah I will take him. And have a copy of the prescription with ME!

It was -10 when I got up this morning. The GPS wouldn't come on forget the screen will not work below zero so had to use the stupid phone to get through the cities. Up to -3 now not supposed to break above zero today.

    christmas week.jpg

Oh look it warms up Thursday and freaking snows.

Think I'll warm up some eggnog and have a cigar outside. Then a nap. Maybe fire up the smoker and grill when I get up.

Oh and good morning it isn't quite noon here yet. Fuck it putting some rum in the eggnog don't care if it isn't noon or not. Chit bet I don't even have any rum way today is going.

Ran't over and I feel much better hell the sun is even out now. Not doing much but it is out. And was a safe trip despite the assholes in front of me and the jerk offs behind me. Day is looking better already.

Yeah I was talked into using the clicker 3 years ago for the first time. Had to practice a LOT with it your right timing is everything and if your off even once it screws things up with the dog. I practiced with vehicles going by a stop sign for weeks hitting it as soon as the bumper hit the pole. Then other moving objects. Like you and the old timers I resisted it at first but in the end it paid off. But haven't used it in almost a year now. I should go back to it with the building blocks of the retrieve but it is more work for me then it is the dog LOL.

My knives should be here in a couple of hours :D Know I should sharpen them first but going to be slicing and dicing when they show up. And chopping. Now I need some food to work with hmmm.....

Stick with it. Unfortunately it's hard to get hired without certs, but easy to stay or move on once you have them. My work pays for my annual physical since it's a condition of employment, but I wouldn't have been hired without the cdl.

    Good afternoon folks
    A whole 0 degrees out.
At work now. Only doing 6 hours. Forman came up to me and asked if I was at the strip club before work, because I had gold glitter on my face. It must be from wrapping paper.

Sorry to hear that. My mother went onto a long term home back in November. Visited with her for a few hours yesterday. Realize there's a point when we all with get there but it just doesn't feel right.

So you opened your mouth saying shit like you were leaving or made it known to someone.
You never say to anyone your looking for another job untill you HAVE another job.
    Then you walk out.
I was all big about a 2 weeks notice.
    NOW.
DRIVE IN AND GET YOUR STUFF AND LEAVE.
That's what it has come to.

    uugh ... :sorry:

    :hattip: Chief Mike

It’s a cultural trend with their generation; we didn’t raise them that way, but somehow their peer group nudged them into that line of thought. :notsure: I see it with the young airmen and even NCOs at work ... and these folks are active duty military.
I figure it all works out ... eventually. :fingerscrossed:

... I have to keep the faith or I’d just drive myself crazy. ;)

... we’re the anal retentive ones with all our rules and standards.

:( Well damn, so sorry Andy.
