    There is a blast from the past. Bet it is somewhere along the section from Asheville to Tn. It happened several times when I lived there. Nasty stuff. Pretty when it is on the treetops during the day. The road not so much.

    Trying to get my mom's 2000 ford Taurus out of the garage. I think it has been in there over a year. Got the staring battery on there but it won't turn over, just cranks. So what do I need to do to get it going? We uses to squirt some wd40 in the carb. That is no longer an option

    Turning over and cranking is the same.
    So it turns over (cranks) but won’t start.
    Your fuel is crap for one thing.
    You need fuel and spark.
    Pull intake hose by t/ body
    Squirt starting fluid into t/ body.
    Reinstall hose.
    Try to start.
    See if it “kicks”or not.
