    Good morning
Everyone be careful with this cold weather, it will end as soon as Global Warming kicks back it.

Funny how you can't even have a feather, but they (DNR) don't give a damm when it's dead.
Last spring I found a doe trying to give birth to 2 fawns at one time. DNR told me to leave her alone. After she died the DNR said I could do what ever I wanted.
    20170522_092602.jpg 20170522_092937.jpg
It was a waste of 3 deer
They (dnr) could of come out and helped when was still time.

Good morning. Teens below zero again. Hasn't gotten above zero for at least 4 days now but supposed to get up to 11 today. And snow then go back down below zero again.

We did run another strand of barb wire across the Canadian border last week for all of us. Didn't help, old man winter just laughed and said watch me now.

I'm hearing more and more people in Wi. and Mn. say DNR stands for Do Nothing Right. I appreciate the work they do but sometimes....

All hale the Wisconsin DNR! We came across a doe under a highway overpass (hwy 26/I39,90) surrounded by traffic. Called the DNR and they tell us “chase her out of there” Great now we become liable for any damage or injuries

    Morning all

Taking the week off, Mom is doing great in the rehab facility, I am going to visit her today. She is surrounded by people like her and she is happy.
Then off to the desert for 5 days, should be fun.
Otherwise there would be 'dead' birds all over the place.

Same here, I respect them and the job they DO, but the leadership in Madison just makes you say WTF.

Well gen wouldn't start this morning.
Maybe the 1/4 inch of ice in the box had something to do with it..lol
Put the Samamder on the gen for two min and started right up.
So I guess Ill run the salamander on her tonight to dry out the inside of the box.
    I Suspect throttle plates stuck.
    No biggie.
    It's only -15...
    Have a good day all.

Ah crap Mike, be careful. Anyway to pipe warmer air into the box?

    Nevermind -15°

    Time for that Disney trip?

Because after Easter it is so hot the sun can melt concrete. Well at least cause it to buckle :)

I like the desert especially Winter and early Spring. Used to go to Anza Berrego and Ocotillo Wells all the time when I was stationed in San Diego. Always surprised me just how cold it can get at night once the sun went down. Never seemed to take enough water but back then always took too much beer which didn't help. Have drank the water from the melted ice out of the bottom of the cooler before. Been a long time I'm sure there are a lot more people in the desert now, and more people in general.

    Lol
It hasn't been started for 3 weeks.
With the storm coming I'm in prep mode.
The 60 watt bulb isn't enough.. Lol
I'll just blast it with the salamander for 30 to 45 min tonight.

I had it on for like 2 min and it started right up.

I think the throttle blade was frozen..
I may rethink the heater.. Loll

    This shit is minor...

Went outside and cleaned up last little bit of the white shit. Put a 250W bulb in the chicken coop and a 100W in the well pit although the liquid water condensation would seem to indicate that it’s not needed. Frost 1” thick on the ceiling was interesting. Time for bed.

That's kinda the problem with those Rokons. If you look at the front wheel sprocket, it's on the opposite side of the rear wheel sprocket to offset the pull (that wants to pull you over). With those wide tires you can really feel it in a hard pull.
