Yea that @snoope guy chickened out and moved.....

 

Piece of cake, just old stale hard cake.

 

Those are crampons for climbing ice in the mountains. Suck on cement or pavement LOL. They are also a PITA to put on and take off. Carbide studs work better in town but still slicker than owl shit on hard surfaces.



After the ice last year I said the hell with it and got screw in studs used on snowmobile tracks for ice racing. And screwed them into my LaCrosse pac boots



Work great and sharp as hell. Cut nice round holes in your carpet or at least doormats if you don't take them off. Don't slip on the ice anymore though.

 

Yea I knew they were for climbing I was just
Different gear for different climates.

 

Well my Lowa ticam boots did their job and kept my feet warm. Need to change back to me Camino pair for everyday.

 

Same thing with cleats.
When i played football I almost fell on my ass in the locker room first time I had cleats on.
When your surface contact patch is like nothing. It’s like walking on ice..

 

Just buy a cheap pair of boots and sud them with our stud machine or put hex screws in the lugs..

Good morning folks. 60 deg, clear and sunny, humidity 26% and the dogs are snoring. Got a load of work clothes in the washer and I don't have any plans for the day except for making a load of pepper jerky.

Have I mentioned our VACATION can not come soon enough..

 

Mine works kinda like the old steam engine frictions...have to throw a scoop of pine resin in there occasionally so it'll catch.
