I have a 30-30 Super 14 and it is a lot of fun. Taken quite a few hogs down with it.

Most of my wheel guns are older S&W but I do have a GP100 6" in 357. It won the Gold Medal in the Pa. Olympics, not by me but my Ex FIL shortly before he passed away. At the time think he was 67 and called me to tell me about it and was rather proud of him self as he should have been. I asked him if that was regular or Sr. class. He replied "regular class you son of a bitch" LOL. When he passed away it was gifted to me. It is a heck of a gun IMO.

Evening all, it got up 52* today. The snow was melting, BUT it is going to get cold with winter coming back. Had to actually use my cool yellow fog lights. It’s kinda neat with warm temps and deep snow the fog just rises out of the snow pack. Roof is completely void of snow, all the work to clear it was just not needed.

Wow great story! Perfect example of how firearms are way more than a piece of machined metal. I have several handed down to me from my Grandfather and great Uncle which have a story and prove a way of survival back in the day.

Yep it is coming back but enjoy it while you can! I did it got up to 37 yesterday so grilled a steak to celebrate

    2 inch ribeye plated.jpg

Ice started last night and snow this morning. Still snowing supposed to quit in an hour or so. 7 above and 20 mph winds lovely weather to shovel and snow blow in. And this is the high for the next few days. Ugh.

    Screenshot_20180111-173049.jpg

Oh look it warms up on Sunday. And snows again. Wonderful. Just wonderful. Still waiting for that convey headed South to come on by.
