Last year was bad year for gravel migration.
The cement slab in front of garage is 24 × 30, then 75 ft. Of driveway. Just have to do what I can. I just don't blow snow far to keep stones close, less raking in spring. Tried training dog to pick it up.

Nope. They wanted you to do this. After giving a notice you need to be prepared to bail.

Morning all, going to try going back to work. Took too much time off already this year. Going to move slow...er than normal.
Sounds like a nice place to be actually.
Same, I miss following baseball, still try but time is just not there yet.

In the grand scheme of things, he really shouldn't have had you driving in your last week to protect you and him from any accident liability on your way out the door. But that is a conversation you two should have had as adults. This helps you transition into your new job without any strings and this allows them to redirect assets (a truck) to other folks.

But, given how this all shook out, piss on them. This gives you a week to progress into your new job or take a little time off.

Um nope as long as you can handle it financially screw dealing with that BS you gave notice so it is not like he did not know you were heading out soon anyhow. Though, make sure he doesn't mark it down as quit ... that might come back to haunt you later . I have not been on the hunt for job in years though so not idea if it will or not.

Well folks, have a good morning. I gotta throw on my boots and head in to the office so we can get our furlough briefing and be sent home.

By the sounds of it, someone might just have to try really hard to try and talk you out of jumping out of a perfectly good airplane!

Well, she'll have one hell of a time with me. I only go as high as a kitchen chair - no airplanes...

His phone doesn't have any buttons???? He could have called you to check if you were OK.

Well, I went in to the office, listened to 3 people say the same thing (in succession) about shutdown proceedures, read a couple emails pertaining to shutdown, told my boss I'll need 24 hours to sober up and travel time from Vegas when they call us back.
