oh man I remember that film I worked in the LOX shop in the Navy. " One should never leave mechanics to get bored and have time to waste" specialty if they work with LOX.

Evening all! It'll take a while to catch up. Wife joined our club today, but she is sick on her birthday.

Thanks, I'll give that a look. The process controllers I mentioned don't have any non-volatile memory and get their operating system from the back server at boot. I'm just needing to boot the systems on the bench to test them farther than just seeing them go through POST. What Cypher mentioned gave me the idea to create a USB hard drive, then I could run some diagnostic utilities on the hardware.

    :sorry:

Odd timing for it to malfunction ... is this possibly some fault of the body shop? When we moved here in 2001 it somehow got drilled into my head to not set the parking brake long term in extreme freezing temps. :notsure:

Happy Birthday to your missus. Hope she feels better soon.

You got to watch that Cypher guy... First thing I did was go look for a recent version of BartPE too LOL. Seems like a lot of the old good tools died off as the programmer gave up on them, and the technology changes.

Hope your wife feels better fast and still has a decent birthday today. Pretty sure you will take care of that. She is up to 49 now you say?!

Car has high miles, probably was about due for brake work. Been sitting outside in cold temps, brought in to do body work, rusty e-brake cable, primed for failure. The car has been sitting outside for a couple of weeks , lot of moisture. Old cars don’t like sitting and not being driven.

Makes sense ... odds stacked against you. Hopefully you catch a break and that’s the end of it.
