You know, I thought about this "Special OPs" thing (it took me a few minutes) and it could mean anything other than what would be considered normal operations for the unit....she could have been in charge of a team to overthrow a small country or put in charge of snacks and refreshments for the weekly staff meetings.

    :woot: Great pic!

I should think “Ranger” would be somewhere in the transition from MP to Spec Ops ... or am I missing something? :notsure:

    1. What condiments do you prefer for your hot dogs? Think carefully!
Ketchup and mustard - burger kind of guy - where's the beef - hotdogs and beer don't mix well!
    1. What snack cakes Little Debbie’s, Hostess or Drake?!
I married a Debbie - leave it at that
    1. What is your preferred hardware for removing the younglings from the lawn?
I admit i had to google word "younglings" - I guess if the younglings are not wanted, the nearest rock I can find which are quite abundant here in dighton, MA. I watched the original star wars at theater in texas back in 70's but not a fan!

    1. Dog or Cat? This is not a question about what is on the dinner menu!

Both - owned many German shepherd and can't wait to take my 1 year old camping in Tacoma!!
    1. Goat Porn?
    Huh?
    1. Coffee or Tea? Those are your only choices!
Coffee - every morning first and only thing done before I get started.
    1. Bacon
Love it !! You should try bacon from down south!!!

Don't confuse Special Ops and Special Forces. Rangers often transition into Special Forces but it's not a requirement.

Both of those take a special type of person and mindset. The physical attributes needed are well beyond what anyone would consider "normal" and mentally, "type A" doesn't even begin to describe them. I know a couple of them and I've met and talked to a few at work (some of the freefall instructors from YPG camp where I work). Very interesting folks.

Her photo is of her in fatigues superimposed on a photo of a paratrooper (assuming it's her... But we all know what assume means). Below that is an excerpt of her career. Now the rest of the veterans have their official military photo.

    But I digress...

Anywho, it is what it is. Yes, I am creating a dossier. HR already asked me to send them all correspondence. Next week is a discussion with the Director of Quality for the division-i.e. Mothership. As long as I don't let it work me up into a lather, I'm ok. So far, sleep has been fine. If it gets worse I'll become ill at the end of each month which will either stop shipments or cause her to source and stamp product...

    Congrats and great pic!
You can take a picture of the truck and the wheels you want (same angle on both pics) and post it on the photo shop thread, they will put them together. Or post it here and I will do it.
OR take pasti-dip in the color you want and see how the colors look on the wheels. it peels off.

Hmmm ... something just doesn’t add up. But I’ll leave it be.

    Good luck RocketMan.

I was ready to say no because of the 'K' word in the hot dog answer

But the picture of the dog won me over :p

Not taking anything away from her at all. We all have our own motivations, visions for service and accolades. And she is not unique by using her career accomplishments as resume fodder. Mine's full of it (that's how we get veterans preference and points for many jobs and benefits).

Dude, that’s a cool piece! The wood looks beautiful and in decent shape too!

Definitely worth the effort to save it in the family.
