Actually, that's one thing that I'm blessed with at my age, great hearing.

... that starter definitely turns faster now.

 

Less amp resistance through the contacts making it more efficient to apply power to the armature/ brushes. Not surprising.

 

The funny thing is, since the truck was new to me I never noticed it was dragging. Now that I know it'll be easier to identify as time goes on.

 

Same thing with brakes. Cust comes in with a low pedal and they bitch when I say they need work , like a cla, to bring the pedal up and adj the ebrake. So I do it and they jack themselves against the steering wheel the first time they hit the brake. Then they come back in bitching ........

It was no problem this morning. I think most were at (or going to) church when I went. I stopped by the grocery store just as things were starting to pick up.

The walmarts here are putting out all the summer/ bbq items now. I think I'll get another gas/charcoal grill when they go on sale, but I want a smaller one this time. But I'm not paying $288 for it.

Long day or short night guess point of view defines it. Spent most of the morning at the hospital with my son. Back home now and back to normal, what ever the hell that is. Up to zero degrees supposed to hit 2 above today. Need to blow snow out of the driveway yet but did shovel the deck off. Priorities. Think I'll take a nap speaking of priorities. Both sons want chicken wings on the grill today. Going to have to wait for awhile. Stopped on the way back home and got chocolate eclairs and cream horns But I did manage to walk by the Little Debbie's snack section without picking up a box. Or two.
