    yeah most people don't even know what the gold award is. i learned in some ways it's even more difficult than the eagle is but gets very little respect. both my girls got theirs in fact we had 4 in our first troop and 3 in the second troop

    Probably 15 years ago we traveled with my teenage daughter to Colorado to raft the Arkansas under Royal Gorge bridge. My daughter and I told her it was a class 3 :rofl:. We still laugh about that one all the time. My wife pretends she's still mad about it but she had a blast. The fear is what makes you feel alive.
