Big gust of wind just came through the valley, we are going from dry and 89° to 42° and raining, every 3 or 4 days.

    Still, no ice storms

    I will shut up now.

Yes sir. Snow and ice is pretty thin here also. I'm sure our spring and summer will do ok though.

Good morning folks, hi new folks.

The doggie looks a ton better this morning. She still has some swelling but it's way down to almost normal. I just dosed her up with hotdog chunks spiked with her meds. I'm gonna have to switch up to something different. She's getting leery of hotdogs now.

When the dog gets wise to the meds good luck. We use Braunschweiger for the Tramadol. We gave up on hot dogs, cheese. Her aspirin and joint supplement she's fine with in her food.

Great minds think alike... I was supposed to go in today but just in case the weather guessers were right decided not to so working from home. Didn't want to pull in the driveway tonight and keep sliding downhill into the tuck under garage. 27° now which is the high for today. And it is raining. Well kind of. As soon as it hits the deck, driveway or anything else it is turning to ice. Heard someone down the road try to get out spinning wheels for about 5 minutes. New folks. Sounds like they gave up.

For lunch going to put on the studded boots and take a walk out back to the storage shed and see what I got left for reserves in ice melt. Studded boots, ready to live where you don't need such a critter. April\May will be here soon and the nice days start. Eventually. Trout season.

Yep, she's picking up on the Tramadol. She gets 1 1/2 of those every 12 hours. She spit out the 1/2 but the taste of hotdog got the better of her so she took it. She really likes chopped ham so I'll so that next. I haven't had braunschweiger in a long time. Maybe I'll pick some up and try it tomorrow.

She gets the fentanyl patch off tomorrow so she won't be so relaxed once it wears off. But my son will be with her so I won't have to deal with her till tomorrow night.

If the dog doesn't take it, you can still eat it.

I like it, just try not to eat too much processed foods anymore particularly meats. Too much salt.
