    Funny you asked.
Guy called me today and I'm picking them up Saturday morning.
The ship's clock had to get a new movement and that was pricy $$.
When he asked for authorization a couple weeks back, I asked him if it was worth it.

He said , it's worthless now, fixed ,it's worth 5-600 dollars.
Cuckoo clock needed only a gear and cleanup.

Sort of expected that, but they both have sentimental value. I'll just put a few projects on the back burner for now.:notsure:
Ships clock was my Dad's and cuckoo was a bringback from my first trip to Munchen.

I want to mount the ships clock on an old timey looking steering wheel .
A friend owns an old boat shop here and probably has a few kicking around.
    Something like this...

Ugh. Chipped ice until 8:30 last night, arms ache. Went in and made what was supposed to be a simple 10 min. change on a server. Worked all night with tech support getting it back on line. 2 hours sleep. Ugh. Too old for this shit. Just finished work. Almost out of ice melt hopefully have enough to get me out of the driveway in the morning. More snow tomorrow. Did I say ugh?

Now I feel better, thanks! Haven't had a real meal in a couple of days. Scrapple should be here any time now. And sweet Lebanon bologna that will get a kiss of double smoke this weekend. Scrapple and eggs for dinner tonight UPS better get their ass here soon.

I'm just screwing with you Chuck. I know how people climatize as well as (oh so well) aching joints and bones appreciate a warmer climate...a big part of my strategy for living where I do.
