That’s what we do. It’ll be there tomorrow. The test here was Irma. Quite a bit of damage. I just keep it in the day and pushed through. We finally were able to get things back to normal. It took awhile.

@Kolunatic Kevin it sounds like you need to get that unreliable machine replaced. Hang in there.

In one campground we have 4 restroom buildings and each has 4 showers. 1 building hardly anyone goes to because it's further from the parkinglots so it has few issues. The building most accessible gets hammered so there's almost always an issue. We have campers that have been coming there for years yet they (for whatever reason) will not go to one of the other buildings. If there's only 1 or 2 showers on that building that work (and occupied) they will wait in a line when 3 other buildings are totally open.and nobody waiting. When we point that out to them they just want to argue. It's really something to see.

I have only been camping for a few years but I have never used the park provided stuff . I have everything thing in the camper I do not see the need to go stand in line nor haul shower stuff down and back. I do know a lot of folks are Leary of putting wear and tear on showers , toilets and tanks but really ?? You bought it / pay for it use it !

Well, yet another day of getting "a talking to". Plant manager asked me to send out the company policy on water bottles in the work area. He asked my boss to do that for over a week now and she hadn't. I expressed concern and the plant manager said "tell her to see me" if she says anything. So, I did what he asked. She became angry. I tell her see the plant manager. She has a half hour meeting about needing to follow a chain of command...

Also was assigned to measure the lighting at the work stations. I told her we don't have a light meter. She said 'get it done' - so I ordered the most expensive one I could find - only one with a NIST traceable certificate. Cheaper ones were under $50. The one I ordered was $395...

Some of our long term visitors leave their rigs in local storage for the summer and they are little more than shelter with a stove and a bed. I doubt much works in some of them. Some keep their rigs in very good condition. So we have a mix of people. Some go down there and shower a couple times a day. They're token operated showers. $1=7.5 minutes. It's pretty crazy. We have a couple token machines that takes all US dollar bills from $1 to $20 and they rake in the money...of course we put the money right back into the operations but it keeps them going and helps us do upgrades. We had to add 2 additional water heaters (per building) to the 2 (per building)that were there just to keep up.

    Evening all.
Had a nice beer, in my comfy clothes, warm cat on my lap, can't keep my eyes open.

    Happy

No it doesn't, even the name isn't good.
Well you warned him. Sounds like he is at least competent.
I have dirt. We were told to stop watering 2 years ago. I saved so much money I kept it that way. I miss the green lawn I used to keep but then we hired a gardener that cut it to 1 inch and I gave up. Dirt is fine.

Maybe rosemary or lavender next., at least it will smell nice.

    :hattip: Evening everybody.
I'm waiting on the next snowfall to show up around 10:30PM; at least I should be at work before it starts. Winter weather advisory from 3AM to noon here tomorrow; 5-8 inches with localized amounts up to 10 inches. Oh well, something to wake up to and clear off the driveway.

...and it doesn't say anything about ice. :fingerscrossed:

I just counted the days to Phoenix visit again, of which there are 17. ;)

That's a well dressed BLT!

    Show Off. :boink:

It's gonna take time...hang in there RocketMan. :fistbump:

Rosemary and/or lavender don't require water? Just curious...

    Enjoy your evening Andy. :fistbump:

Time I get ready for work. :)
