I ended up taking a bench job supporting those areas, mostly a class 10000. We had a class 1000 for LTCC production but i never stepped foot in there.

 

So you plan your flights, lodging, and maybe which park you want to hit on which day and play the rest by ear

 

Nothing played by ear.
Parks, events, lodging between parks, all planned.
We have two things to go to after we get there in the afternoon

 

To each their own I guess I just tend to be more spontaneous. Christie likes to have it all planned but not me and i try to throw a wrench in her plans every chance I get on vacation. That's why I enjoy this camper I guess. We plan where we're going and meals and that's it the rest is done on a whim

We can’t be like that. Went 30 years ago. Won’t be going again.so much to see and it’s what she wants.

 

We're now 100,000. Had a 10,000 room but closed it down when a particular model ended production. We do use laminar hoods in the current 100,000 rooms for a critical operations. The 10k room required the 'bunny suit' along with booties. The 100k room only needs a hair bonnet and frock. I wouldn't call it a 'clean room' though - more like a 'not too dirty' room.

 

Wel you'll have a blast either way. I lived about an hour from there when the magic Kingdom was being built and after it opened. I've probably been there a dozen times but only Epcot 3 times, Animal Kingdom once and MGM or whatever it is once. Get to the parks when they open but this is why i suggested the park hopper pass, we were done with the animal kingdom by late afternoon and we'd done everything so we hopped over to the Magic Kingdom to finish the day your parking pass wil be good there also so dont have to buy it again.

Our whole building was 100000 except the clean rooms. 100000 is where final assembly and test took place. That's where i worked as a tech before i move to the lab. This was abs/esp production. In the lab i did component level failure analysis on product returns. I probably had my hands on some Camry units @Tacoma Mike pulled out of vehicles.

I can't answer that. Lol. After all they did go to our Charleston facility to get installed on the actuator before going to Georgetown.

If you ever see an older ECU with a 982 on the label, that was one of ours. They have moved that production to Mexico now. The plant here is strictly power train now.

I'm not sure when we started the Camry. I'd say early 90s. I left in late 2006, which was two generations later. That was when stability control became available. That was the flat unit with the plug coming out of the bottom. We had Solara too when it was built.

 

I’ll keep that In mind.

 

Hey I found all kinds of colors ...well only a few I could see but could read they had the primary colors and all sorts of wild designs. We wore them to for painting and sanding white or blue though;(.

We also wore hard hats issued blue and or white ones one of the guys went and got on that was pink lol mo one ever stole it nor was he hard to find in the hanger lol.
