most newer cars have an adjustable seat belt mount on the "B" pillar so you can adjust for your seating position

either does mine !!! , I'm running a 5 point safety harness from G Force . The only problem with mine is Law enforcement say it's illegal and non DOT for a street driven car . The other is NHRA wants these belts replaced or have a re cert done every 2 years

Adjusting it up and down doesn't change the position, just the height. I usually use the things you get for kids, but forgot to get the one out of the truck.

They need to make the buckle end longer

I only have lap belts that I added to 'keep the bodies with the car'. Metal dash, non-collapsible steering column, no roof. I doesn't matter how I'm belted in...

at a car show about a year ago I had a off duty Sheriffs Deputy tell me my NHRA Spec'd 8 point cage and 5 point racing harness were both illegal and non DOT

He also mentioned that I could be seriously injured and rescue personel would be slowed down trying to extricate me in an accident . I tried telling him the cage is built to NHRA stringent safety specs and that my car is now much safer / stronger than when it was built from the factory . I also told him the cage was built by a well known race fab shop and the Deputy said no matter what was done it's still non DOT legal

Afternoon everyone. A day or two ago there was a conversation concerning shotguns with adjustable chokes on the end of the barrel. This jogged a memory of Dad having a 12 gauge such as this but he didn't use much. He always used his 1100 and 870. So while I was visiting him yesterday, I asked him about this gun, I wanted to see it. Well we got busy and forgot, but he sent me a message today with the picture of the choke. Story is, back in the late 50's into the early 60's before I was born, Dad worked @ Sears Roebuck and Company. He bought this gun there for $80. It is a Sears model 200 Ted Willams model, made by Winchester. Dad moved the gun to the front of his crowded gun safe to show me next time I visit.

    Well he's right per say.
But splitting hairs is something I avoid in any conversation with people like that.

Good Afternoon Folks. Hope all is well. Finished up some yard work and tinkered with the Tacoma.
Recently added some Meso Map lights, and my Oil Filter Cap Housing arrived Today. Will install it at the First Oil Change. Still having Stellar weather here, but a slight cool down is expected by the weekend. We need rain bad:rain: things are real dry. Be Safe Peeps.
