Thanks Ed. I installed 5100's on my 2010 DCSB SR5, but on stock coils and it did ok. But I think with this set up with the OR coils will be just the ticket for me. SR5 shocks and struts are junk.

Cinders, wow there is a blast from the past. They used to put down a lot of burnt coal cinders on the roads in the day. We had a coal furnace when I was young and remember helping dad put the cinders on the driveway and in front of the mailbox. And potholes big enough you joked a VW bug would get lost in them and never make it out the other side.

Need to let your Son try his own thing Mike. He may feel the need to come back home again. It happens.

LOL pretty much, and carry them to the "mud room". Mom never did have to repeat herself more than once though. If she did she was more than likely pulling the short hairs on the back of your neck at the same time. Mom spoke, we listened. As it should be.

Yeah you gotta love the back roads here that have a crown in the center which wears out the right side tires faster...

Been seeing more road kills last few days.
Last evening we counted 27 deer cross road and run up the the hill. Pizza delivery guy had to stop for 4 deer just standing in road like they owned it.

California has some of the worst roads I have ever seen. Be glad you saved them from the eternal depths of vehicle hell.

I lifted the F'n J a couple years ago with the Toytec BOSS coilovers up front and Superflex progressive coils in the rear.
Pretty easy to do the fronts as it has no miles and everything came apart with no issues.
It actually took a lot longer to adjust the rings on the struts than to install them.
Take wheels off, turn rings, put wheels back on, measure height, and repeat several more times till they're even.
Repeat 6 months later after springs settled.:annoyed:
