Yes it depends on the location of the sprinkler. They help protect it from weedeaters and the mowers.

thanks.... think I'm going to put them at least where the neighbors keep cutting over my sprinkler and the guy literally scrapes the dirt (guy has NO grass - gets scalped every couple of weeks) and the last time pretty sure my sprinkler was scraped... I"ll put them out and that'll fix'em

Your welcome Susan. They will help. A lot of folks don't watch where they mow and hit stuff.

    Morning all.
Some tornadoes went through Maine yesterday. Much better day today.
Must get the lawn mowed someime this week. Been neglecting my duties.
But didn't want to scalp it with the dry conditions.
Have a safe day. Find something to enjoy.

Good morning! Starting to get hot here again too, supposed to get up to 95 by Thursday. Which is my sporting clays evening but not going to shoot in those temps. But agree and like the comment you don't have to shovel heat. Starting the day off at the dentist this morning hope it goes well after that. Although now I want some doughnuts for breakfast for some reason.

Today will be interesting....We have the usual Tuesday staff meeting @ 10AM. Part of the agenda will be discussion on how I should apologize to a member here at the club for a squirrel jumping off a garbage can and onto his face. It has already been concluded it is 100% MY fault. (seriously) ....... I have already informed several who will be in attendance that I will be blowing up at the idea..... This will NOT have a happy conclusion. I expect to be fired when I react to the allegation I'm "at fault".

    Simply ridiculous......

Offer the guy some martial arts training since he can't take care of himself. Never apologize.
Tell him the squirrel thought he had a "purty mouth"
Apologizing for a wild animal. Yea. Right. Glad it's not me in that meeting..

That sucks. I would also blow up if someone suggested this was my fault. Tell the guy to suck it up and grow a pair. Not your fault the squirrel has bigger nuts than him.

I'm considering calling a couple friends of mine that are involved in "animal rights groups", and/or wildlife protection agencies....Let's see what kind of turmoil they can bring to the table.

So hilarious, sorry. Brings Caddyshack to mind. Like when Carl's boss tells him to kill the gophers and he thinks he said golfers.
