Well if I get a vacation oh well it will definitely not be the first time I have made some one mad I have been told I could start a fight in a phone booth though that was when there were phone booths lol

when i was like 8 or 9 my hunting attire was long johns,jeans bunch of shirts,socks,burlap bags,and gum rubber boots with buckles.thats all we had.my first camo army field jacket was my most prized posession.aah, the memories

 

White cotton waffle weave long johns, which were worthless when wet, while your at it

Wore that shirt and jacket well into the 80's but had moved up to waxed cotton field pants by then. I was an E5 or E6 by then and had some real money.



Still have my first set of hunting camo pants and shirt, in treebark. Couple of years ago was down at the Pope and Young headquarters and museum and they had a set hanging on a door. Told the curator I had the same set at home. He said they had been looking all over for a set and someone had just sent that one in as a donation. When I told him I still had my Darton MX50 bow he said they were still looking for one of those and asked if I wanted to donate it. You know your getting old when the curator of a museum starts asking you to donate your stuff LOL.

 

Yet there’s something cool about it. My Chief’s Vietnam era jungle fatigues are on display at the Air Expeditionary Center on JBMDL.

 

thats an awsome pic.my dad still has the treebark set i bought him for christmas one year.iI still have some original mossy oak bottom land.my son confiscated it and wears it.
