You can also do this in Austin, TX tubing down the Guadalupe River for 4 hrs or so when your a Day Glow White Irish Guy from the far north east who had not needed to use sunblock ...... Yes there was a cooler on a tube :} It is also where you will gain respect for the cliff divers when you jump straight up and down into a river from about 40 feet or so the story goes ...lol You really know you screwed up when you get back to your dorm room and walk into the AC and the goose bumps you get hurt!! lol

Last week I had the annual "I think I might sell the Z28" moment. It passed without further consideration....

Hasn't been out of the garage since early May. Gonna be in a parade with it on Labor Day, so it'll need to be cleaned up before then.

I'll get a few next time it's uncovered and out of the garage. I lost my photo file a while back when my old computer crashed.

It's a VERY original "survivor" '69 Z28 with RS trim package, red w/black stripes and black interior. Even has reproduction Goodyear Polyglass bias ply tires. I have a full set of Crager GT wheels, Mickey Thompson tires, Lakewood "J bar" traction bars, a set of the dealer installed option headers (still in the box) and the obligatory Stewart Warner Tach, circa 1969, all ready to make it a 1969 street racer! Leaving it showroom floor original for now though!

would love to see pics. as you can see by mine it's modified but don't hold that against me i like them all. i took an old race car and made it into a hotrod for me it wasn't originally something special like yours is so i got creative with it (occupational hazzard) i have a deep appreciation for cars like yours that are preserving a piece of our history and hot rodding herritege

Until a couple years ago, I had a completely original '67 Z....One of only 602 built. I sat on it for quite a few years, and finally gave in to the temptation to sell, making almost $50K on it. Sorta wish I still had it, but I didn't have garage space for BOTH, and the '69 is my favorite. Since the day I saw my very first one, I thought the 69 Camaro was the best looking car ever built.

Not cheap. Said it was very noisy. Well it was till I threw the cord he had on it. Has some cool features. I can piggy back both amps now. The whole street will here me

This Pokemon thing is causing some strange behavior. Just got home from a walk with my 12 year old daughter. That she invited me to. Sure, her nose was stuck in her phone the whole time, but I'll take it.

Busy, hot day. Just got home and time for bed. Got up early and started building the shelves for my kids Eagle project, then it got too hot. Going to postpone the project, hoping it will cool down a little.
Took him to work and I went to work got out about 1900 and straight to Mom's, got her groceries and fixed the computer. This was on the calendar, struck me as odd or maybe I am just tired. Night all

It's a good idea to walk with her so you can keep an eye on her. From what I've been hearing those folks get into all kinds of trouble due to not watching where they're going!

Good morning. Woke up at 5:45 and was already 80 here. Outside that is, 68 inside of course. Can hardly see out most of the Anderson windows in the house they are covered in moisture and the cement in garage floor has puddles of water. Talk about soupy. Taking the dogs out this morning was OK, as long as I didn't move fast! Hope everyone has a great day.

We just passed our 20th wedding anniversary, so it was just a joke.

Yes, she does need it. She has had back and shoulder problems several times over the past few years (including physical therapy), so it's justified. She went from "well endowed" (D cup) when we were married to "holy crap" (DDD+ cup) after she had our son. She has to mail order special bras because of the size. Operation is scheduled for August, and has been pre-approved by insurance.
