So, when the original building was replaced it had (what I call) a curb side concrete box but the new building is placed on a higher grade. Somewhere around 24" higher. So "they" just added a 24" fiberglass box on top, brought grade to the top and called it good. The concrete has since broken and fallen in. Not to mention that now just about every wire for the campground runs through it. 110, 220, 480 and (somewhere) is a 7kv line (still haven't found it yet so don't know where it is) pump wires, pump control wires, float wires. A lot was added through that box with the newer buildings. So now, instead of a 12" x 18" box (original), were going to build a 48"x48x"x 30" tall box made from 4x6 cribbing. Eventually, once we get this under control I'm going to pour concrete inside, using the cribbing as the outer form. But there's so much in there and it's so deep you have to be able to get down inside it.
