Just got back to my place a few min ago after a fun day at my friends house . Watched the NASCAR race then had lunch then dinner

Good Morning Folks!

 

I already have a dr note for 9 hour shift only.
Anything more then that I get in trouble.
Most people don’t know if I push to hard I get severe leg cramps in my modified leg.
I get attacks and have to crawl to the bathtub and soak at 2am.
Then I have to use a cane at work for a couple of hours until I loosen up. It’s instant cramp and without the cane I can fall or I look pretty stupid hobbling trying to keep my balance.

Of course I get the usual old man / slacker comments ....

There is nothing wrong skeletal, my hip is good for a few years more, it’s muscle cramps because they stretched that side 1/2 inch to get my hips aligned again. So if you think about it my left leg is always walking as if my muscles are bent over 90 degrees.

I don’t complain cause the alternative was constant pain in a wheel chair.
I am blessed in that regard. My dr was so fuckin awesome. He gave me a second chance at life. It’s the second chance has dim outlook and not what I was expecting.

Many years ago the old fuckers were reveled and watched out for and they in turn passed the knowledge.

Now it’s “ how much longer? They are in a hurry.”

I’ve never been afraid of hard work. I still keep up and surpass the younger generation.
I’m trying to make my quality of life better after I get out of work , as now if I work 6 days I sit and do nothing on Sunday trying to recoup.
I’m trying to slow down. Enjoy my life a little more as the hour glass is not as full as it use to be.
But I think it’s not going to happen.
But I make no excuses, if I’m scheduled to work. I’ll be there.

So like a lot of the older generation,we put our big boy/ girl pants on and hit the floor running, or hobbling.....
