Occasionally I spot the camper/fisherman out there and tell them "No having fun till you see me leave this afternoon". Sometimes they really think I'm serious and it gets a rise out of them. The look on their face like " what?! I can't have fun?! FU!".

There's a lot more Canadian friends back in Canada. The vast majority have gone back home for the summer. I walked one of the campgrounds yesterday and most were locals out for the weekend. Getting more families out on spring break. We'll be seeing the local highschool seniors out there for "senior cut day" soon too. They go back to a ledge overlooking the river they call "the cliffs" and jump off into the water. We'll also start seeing the heat injuries, especially now when people aren't drinking water and the climbing temps and just not being prepared.

The "real" season starts in a couple weeks. This was a warm up mission to get the assholes out of the new line.
Nothing worse than getting knotted up on opening morning.
    Think it's stretched out now.:D

Same here. Been up since 3:30, fished and already replaced a floodlight fixture over the garage.
Had one of those motion sensor jobs that burned at half wattage till it's tripped. Sensor failed due to UV's killing it. Replaced with same. Lasted 20 years.

    I use that excuse .
I usually just hook my line to a tree and walk back 40 yard and set them in a cement block for the afternoon.
I’m very bad with my line.
Some guys change their line like 3 times a year. I change mine like mmmmmm like every 3 years ?
Haven’t changed my braid and this will be my third year I think.
Dono. I cut back my mono on the two rods I have 5 feet every spring for the nicks etc.

Both mine started last fall, made it through hunting season then they basically "blew out" the last day. Lucky I wasn't 10 miles away from the truck but loading it to head home. Doc said if they weren't better by Christmas to come back and get cortisone injections. Tomorrow is April 1? Guess I better schedule an appointment with him. Not getting any better on their own. Several of my friends have mentioned it is the first step in getting new knees. Just wonderful.
