For trailer lights I highly recommend LED lights if you haven't already. Once you do you'll wonder why you didn't it sooner. Trailer lights always were a pain until switched to LED. Of course if the wires themselves are broken from chewing then they won't work. Well most of them will except for the broken circuit. Porcupines love chewing on wiring too.

I remember those back in the 70's. They seemed to die off for quite awhile then showed back up not long ago. Better than a pop up in a blizzard I would think. But still small, awfully small. I know of several bird hunters that have converted V nose cargo trailers to campers of about the same size. Featherlite aluminum Trailers are made in Cresco, Iowa about an hour and a half from me. Not cheap, but a lot use them as a base to work with.

Good morning everyone, had a long Monday, hope today is a little easier. Supposed to snow a little today, it won’t last. I need this winter stuff to be gone. Try and have a good day kids.

You too jim. I hope today’s a little slower myself. I get a helper today for the first time in about 15 years or so.

Yesterday I was dealing with 2 blowouts on domestic hot water in a basement of a dorm to be called about emergency toilet in cafeteria. Hauled ass over and everything is fine:annoyed:couldve sent the helper on things like that. Had to leave carpet fan on boiler overnight to see if it dried out:fingerscrossed:

    Morning all.
    Weather sucks.
Cold, wet, snow /rain showers all the rest of the week. A peek at 50 tomorrow then down in the 30’s.
I am really done with this...

I switched my boat trailer over to led cause I had to. My lights lasted 20 years and a bulb went out. Well they we’re sealed units. So had to change them. Wiring next to the units had cracked. Why it didn’t blow something I don’t know. Had extra wiring so cut back 4 inches and soldered/ sealed the new units..
Nice and bright. Should never have to touch them ever again. I may switch the clearance lights to led if I can find direct replacements.

Installed a trailer controller in a tundra yesterday. Specifically asked customer where he wanted it.
He said anywhere is ok AHHHHH NOOO.
Brought him out and had him sit in the truck and he said there. In a bad spot sideways on the console.

I told him it was not a good spot and the controller orientation was not right.

So he got pissed and asked why I even brought him out.
    I said this is why...

You need to understand I need to put it a certain way and only 3 places I can put it and it be right.
Only 2 places that won’t hit your leg. Are you left handed or right handed?
    Suddenly he paused and says
“This is serious isn’t it ?”
    I go yeaaaaaaaa.

So after about 5 min he decided on the left side just under the switch panel.

I actually got a thank you..

    I’m so tired of this.........
