Snowing. 6 to 10. Sounds like a prison term. Which it is, gets above freezing twice in the next week. Thursday 34 and snow. Sunday 34 and snow. I want out of jail. Snowing until 4 AM tomorrow morning. Did I mention it is snowing? Oh and good morning. Worked until 11 last night and been working since 5:30. Have another month like this and then it will be worse with all nighters for a week. Getting too old for this thing called work. I know, quit your bitching and get back to work right? Carry on.

Liked for the everyone have a nice day. Hope the family settles down and long run things work out. Family is more important than money but you already know that.

Good morning folks. Y'all stay safe and have a good day. I get to drag my feet waiting for someone from another office to come get the skidsteer we put on waivers. They should be here about noon so that'll give me time to do some running around before they get here.

    Morning all
    Construction starts up again today

Starter gets here today, goes in tonight. Might go to HF and get a worklight.
    Back should hurt tomorrow.

    This could be entertaining

    Here fishy fishy

Went well, the only thing that hurts now is my credit card.
My brother and I get along well, we both do as much as we can and it works out. He is the financial guy and has been working on cleaning the house. He knows I am up to my neck in life right now, so he has been great, Mom is still around but can't remember the name of her grands. She moved up by me so I deal with that.

We learned to trust each other long ago, no amount of money is worth the loss of family.

Taking PTO for the week she has about a month and a half saved up from carrying over. Then she’ll be working from home for a couple weeks as well.

I feel fortunate that my sister and I see eye to eye on the estate issues. Yep, the beneficiary IRAs is something we're working on too. Sat down with the folks at the investment firm that handled Mom's IRA and took care of it when we were back home a couple of weeks ago. It was pretty straight forward and got some good advice from the guys there to include my own retirement plans/wants/needs.
Luckily Mom had liquidated all of her physical assets only leaving us to clear out her apartment. Finished that on Saturday. Funny, my sister and kept finding stuff that neither of us really wanted but just couldn't stand to get rid of as it was Mom's. My daughters will have plenty of little things that came from Grandma's.

After my drive shaft work, I found a 14mm gear wrench in my door. I turned around and took it back before they closed.

Glad to he hear things are going smooth.
It is kind of funny the things we found going through moms stuff. Things that we didn't know existed. We finally found out who ate the cookies and drank the milk, beer and shot of brandy that we would set out on Christmas eve. In a way I wish I wouldn't of been told.
Just because that was one of the ways mom and dad made Christmas special.

We all do get along and my brother needs to understand that I was just trying to explain to him the laws.

With time to kill this morning, I took one of my trailers to the tire shop. One tire had a nail right at the shoulder of the tread and I knew they had to replace the tire and there was no spare. When we got to looking, 2 more tires had the tread starting to seperate so now it's all shoe'd up with 5 new tires. Glad we found it now before summer.

Officially in our new home! We've stayed here since Thursday but we got checked out of our temp house yesterday at 10:15am, so its official, we're done moving for a bit!! (5 moves in 8 months since the fire...)

Last night however was a shitshow. Sustained winds of about 35mph. Gusts were over 50mph. The noise created by all that was horrible!

The town just down the road is named Hurricane. Now I see why... Otherwise its a nice 48* and sunny.

New home chores this morning. Install dryer vent hose. (do laundry if that goes as planned). Hang mirrors. A few more boxes to unpack and put away. After that, we're settled in!

    Gooooood morning everyone!

cool, thanks for the tip! last fall my last trip is when I lost the clearance lights, I think it's the brown wire... still had brake and signal lights. I'm no expert but there's google LOL. I suspect it has lost contact at the plug but haven't had time to investigate yet. I do know that instead of a separate brown wire, the yellow and green are attached to brown so not sure what that all means. The plug is one of those that you close with pliars to cut thru to the copper, the original plug failed early (small snowbear landscape trailer from Canadian Tire)
