 Morning, hope all are well.

I rediscovered leftovers about 4 yrs ago when our youngest/last son moved out. I can get a few work lunches out of them, unless he stops by the house after work during the week; which he still does since he works 3 mins from our house.

Good morning 50's. Moose, when I retired and we moved to VB to be closer to our sons, our food bill went up again, They'll usually stop over when they get off work in the morning for breakfast or the wife will ask them over for dinner when they're off. The older one in particular is a "grazer". Can't keep any "goodies" like pepperoni or smoked sausage in plain sight in the fridge, lol. Truth be told, I wouldn't change it for the world, even when they're a pain in the posterior.

Our bi-annual air show is titled Arctic Thunder ... guess what the theme music always is. :D
Brought back memories, can't believe it's been 11 years since I worked on the Air Show staff in 2004 ... memories seem like yesterday. I really am getting old.

Happy Friday morning! Hope everyone has something fun planned for the weekend.

LOL I hear you, although at one time I didn't mind it so much. Then I counted how many times I handled just one piece of wood from felling to dumping ashes IIRC it was something like 21 times.

I liked that... During Desert Shield\Storm we put together a similar video on the Coral Sea set to Bad Company, Bad Company. Mainly Hornets, cat launches, traps and bombing runs but some aerial combat too. Loved it and had a copy on VHS but it eventually degraded to trash :frusty:

    Mornin' Mike.

Too bad you didn't get the VHS transferred to DVD.:(

FWIW (for everyone here) ... My wife had a lot of our old VHS stuff of the boys and trips from our 7 yrs in England transferred over to DVD a couple Christmases ago. Some of the video is pretty grainy and deteriorated, but I'm glad she was able to save most of it to the more durable media before it all went to crap. I think she had it done at WalMart IIRC. But it can be done ... if you catch it before it's too late.

Yeah pretty much wore that tape out by the time transfer to digital format was available. Even bought a SUPER VHS player LOL. Irony is every since I retired from the Navy I have been doing digital imaging systems for a living. In the beginning conversion from microfiche, paper, tape, etc. And thanks for the reminder I do have several old VHS tapes yet of the boys from years ago that I should get converted....

Thank YOU for your service, and everyone else on here. Just noticed there are more than a few!

DVD's / CD's aren't impervious to Father Time either though, I have some music CD's that are beginning to flake due to "disc rot" where the silver coating starts detatching from the plastic. Just starts coming off in little pin-hole to pencil lead size pieces but ruins the disc. Talk about a bummer when you go to play something and find out it is no longer playable . . .

Morning all. Looks like another wet weekend.
Going to try and build a barstool chair for new table. If it ends up nice then total of 4.
