The bike wasn’t happy. But the dam walk behind fired rightnof without charging the battery and 5 squirts on the primer. It’s usually a ether and yank like hell. It wanted out of the shed..

    I charged mine yesterday.
Couple pumps of the gas pedal and feathered the choke a bit and she smoothed out.

Hats are subjective and totally a personal preference. I wear a ballcap just about all winter and when I'm driving around during the summer. When I'm out of the truck and out running equipment during the summer I wear a straw or palm leaf western hat. Straw tends to breath better than palm. There are other styles of hat (besides western) that may suit your taste better and be more comfortable.

Before the March Spring Break trip to PHX, I picked up an Under Armour Warrior bucket hat in white camo on clearance from Kohl's online similar to this: pid1307128-001 They must have discontinued the white camo? I liked it very much, and it conveniently folds up to go in a pocket or pack. Looks like heck, pretty much a "go to hell hat" ... but functionally effective IMGOBO. :notsure:

I think Martin nailed it perfectly. It has taken me a lot of years to find the hats I now wear. I don't wear ball caps anymore and have a large collection of them that don't see much daylight.

I'm pretty much down to 2 hats like @bucktales and with a common theme.

Orvis Man's best friend hat for summer and fishing. It is a true Panama hat and for summer like Martin said stay away from Palm it is hot and heavy, toquilla straw is the original fabric for a Panama hat.

and my hunting hat. That belongs to the dog too. Last couple of dogs have used them for a water bowl in the woods.

Sitting between a pile of moose and wolf turds, for reference.

Being waxed cotton it is a much cooler weather hat. The company went out of business about a decade ago that makes them and no one else does anymore, the dog and I guard it closely!
