Want to laugh I do know how to make Damascus but want to bring the other skills up , Wootz / Damascus steel as long as the metal is prepped correctly welded on edge get it hot enough and put the pressure to it , it will form a solid block. The standard patterns are a known entity how to stack and such specialty are well a lot of experimentation. Now getting the Damascus to a shape other then square or rectangular is what I have to work on at least doing it the traditional way. Only thing I am lacking here is a forge and a hydraulic press or power hammer which I will fabricate . Give me time maybe by next year :}

thanks I'm seriously thinking stress is the trigger. Will know the end of the month if I need meds.... this sucks, but I could be worse....

winter has returned it's 32* out side with a snow rain mix. June is almost here!!

It's 41F and is forecasted to get to 50, here today. Chilly for essentially the beginning of May. At least it's not snow (sorry Bob).
