    Bead blasting the threads shouldn’t have effected especially if it has a steel insert. I would hope anybody with any sense that had any kind of coating especially crappy ceracote would at the least check to make sure the threads were clear before attempting to install but perhaps I have too much faith in people’s judgement. I’m still kinda confused what instructions are needed to install a shift knob

    Doing just fine. The construction isn't moving fast and I don't know when it will start again. Its stressing me out so I am trying to go with the flow. Just so annoying.

    Stick with it. It has those stages where it goes slow then speeds back up. I hate finish work...it seems to drag out sometimes.

    Well yes the threads should have been protected from the beginning at the least a bolt could have been threaded throughout the process. I simply meant if you needed to bead blast the threads it shouldn’t hurt them. I couldn’t tell you how many rusted bolts I’ve had to blast over the years

    I've spent enough times with my arms inside a cabinet blasting steam valves that if I ever hit the jackpot I will pay someone else to do it :D

    The ships LP air system were always 125 psi and run by a bunch of 200 CFM 2 stage air compressors. And had to fix those when they went down too.
