Isn't technology great! A person uses more of the natural resources fixing the damn thing when it's broke that it'll ever save. Of course mining for the metals to put in those batteries destroys more than a whole fleet is worth, but that's a whole 'nother story.

Good morning folks. Headed in to weld together a free standing roadside sign thingy (yes, that is the proper nomenclature without the nsn). Then bring it back to the office, do a briefing for the weekend, then back out to set up for the weekend, then back to the office to go home. Tomorrow morning I'll bolt the sign to the stand, switch out the old sign with the new sign, load to old signs on my truck, haul those out then start doing fee compliance. I can't do "enforcement" because I'm not a cop but I can sure guilt.or scare them into "compliance" if they want to balk...actually we rarely have any problems this weekend. Our compliance rate is usually about 95-99%. That last little % usually gets a visit from LE with a ticket that's easily triple the cost of a permit.

 

I haven’t had it in awhile Mike, seems back in the day it was regular at the diner for me.
I do enjoy some good southern biscuits and gravy a few times a year at my favorite choke and puke

Driving in this morning I received a Toyota Update on the Head Unit. This was the first one since I purchased it. The modern technology still blows my mind with all this tech stuff.

 

Ideas so dang good they have to be mandated.

 

Good morning. Almost to Friday. Which is just another work day.

Key phrase for the day. Week. And years to follow. 40 minutes yet before I have to go play with my mandated technology. Going to take my time getting there today feel like I'm running out of steam already this week.

A quiet morning here today, but starting tomorrow it’ll be busy. Looks like it will be a wet holiday weekend. Time will tell how much rain we will get from Alberto!! Y’all have a great Day!
