Damn Dewayne switching shifts like the must be hard. Hell just trying to remember what shift I'm suppose to work would be hard enough.

Morning everyone. Little sore this morning after water heater change out yesterday. Stupid drain valve was clogged, walked the heater over to sump and unscrewed plastic valve. Still no drainage so I rammed an old short ground rod in and she came busting out. Never easy....

Good morning folks. Back to work. It'll take the week just to get back on schedule. One good thing about working alone, you know the work area is just the way you left it. I think I'm filling in more on the ranger side too. He went to one of the New Mexico fires. Not a big deal, not many people out there from now till September anyway.

    Y'all have a great day.

If a man could invent a water heater with a cleanout door life would be much easier.we have hard water and i clean ours out bout every 3 years when the bottom element shorts out from calcium buildup

Go tankless. There's flush ports before and after the heater. I run vinegar through mine and clean the screen every year with a small pump, 5 gallon bucket and 2 hoses. Super easy.

We all pick our own jobs. What started out as a really good idea often turns into a curse later in life. I often think I should have picked a different trade. It's never too late but often too hard to make a switch.

Mine hangs on the wall outside the master bathroom shower next to the walk-thru door from the garage to the back door. Easy access, easy to work on.
