They hit us up for a transit tax of 10 cents a litre. I take transit, pay for that, but have to pay for it again everytime I pull into the station.
We do have the highest gas prices in North America, so Vancouver is number ONE for something!:dancingbacon:

Bong water is $1.99 here been holding there for quite awhile and taxes are way too high. Can always be worse though.

Sounds like some had a rough day and others a good one. I was blessed and in the good day group. Started off before sunrise working the dogs for a couple of hours on bumper drills (well the pup the old man is only good for a couple) then spent much of the day shooting sporting clays. Tired and sore but feels good. Not too tired to cook though, wish we had fresh seafood here. Maybe something tomorrow but not the same as fresh out of the water. Instead did Porterhouse sear and slide with clarified butter seared crust. Corn on the cob is in season so did some on the gas grill to go with it. Fire. Meat. Med Rare on the inside. Will get a couple of meals out it.

When I got up it was 56 and ended up putting on a long sleeve shirt to stay warm. Got up to 77 today and sunny with fairly low humidity. Just about perfect. Good night and hope everyone has a great day tomorrow.

Try buying race fuel !!!, last 5 gal container of VP C12 cost me $89 !! :censored: . It's cheaper to buy a 55 gal drum and that still puts a hurt to your wallet as that's almost $700

Ouch! My mom worked at an aircraft engine manufacturer, they caught a guy stealing gas from the company. Those engines run 105 octane. He couldn't shut his engine down because the engine would keep dieseling after he turned the key off. Will never forget that. :)

    Small useful for me stuff.
Finally have something constructive to add to the fun old guys/gals thread. The trailer plug relocate. One piece of advice. Do not cut the top(near the hinge) bump off when fitting the plug. It will mess up your day. Other than that all went well.

I'm thinking of using that fuel fragrance when my Camaro comes back from the race chassis fab shop

jim try the seafoam fuel treatment it removes the ethanol and helps stabalize the fuel. last time i let the camaro set for a while i had to tear apart the carbs and bore ot the squirters because the ethanol had screwed them up but this time using the seafoam it sat almost 2 years and fired rt up

Yeah I would put different treatment products in both vehicles and made the decision to run regular gas. Along the coast here the moisture is high and plays havoc on shit! Plus because it's a large boating community the regular gas is offered at most of the stations.

    Morning all!

I gotta mow the lawn today. My wife keeps telling me to get a landscaper/lawn service to do it. I just can't see paying someone to do something that I've been doing since I was 10 years old.
