:yay: for your sis Mike!! Hope she recovers fast.

Son lives in Tucson and had one of those trees - yuk!!! We chopped it down and I used long handled clippers to move the branch pieces :D then it took forever for the stump to DIE!!!! He poured gas on it and burned it several times before it gave up.

 why does no Advance Auto have any u joints in stock??? :annoyed: None of them in town have any :pout: oh, well, hopefully they'll find some when they unload their trucks.... :goingcrazy:

Not to try and minimize it because well, it's hot. The part I hate the most is when we have a storm roll through and the humidity climbs. It takes me a bit to get use to the heat again after 8 or so months of "pretty damn nice weather" so triple digits aren't exactly welcome. But, like some of you have to prep for snow and winter, I'm finding this summer not as bad since I did have time to prep...bigger/better ice chest, more shade, getting ac units prepared, getting windows tinted. So it's all relative.

I mentioned that I just had my first baby boy one month before my 50th B-day.
So the other day we saw a 3-4 year old toddler throwing a tantrum in a restaurant - I told my wife "If our son ever does that I'm just going to tell people that I'm the grandpa so it's not my fault" :D

    Afternoon Everyone !! :hattip:

Awesome weather here in the High Desert , only 79° right now with 22% humidity !!!

While heading back home from Apple Valley I watched a med duty tow truck towing a class C motor home had it fall off the under reach bar

As he was making a wide R/ turn the Motor home slid over on the under reach and the r/front steer tire hit the pavement . Next thing I see is the Tow truck driver struggling trying to keep his truck and the Motor home from crashing

I bet that incident soiled the drivers shorts !!!

It looked like he had the under reach bar down to low as to keep the back of the motor home from dragging on the pavement . When the weight shifted on that r/hand corner it allowed the steer tire to contact the ground

Also he was using the wheel lift instead of using frame forks
