As Martin said that about sums it up. But it is a dry heat. Yeah so is a bonfire but you don't see me stick my ass over it. Still laughing. Until December. Then it wouldn't be the first time I stuck my ass over a campfire so I could feel my butt again.

The weather guessers lied it got up to 79 instead of 78 today.

Dad got through the surgery - still in recovery. He had 3 leaks on his replacement heart valve, one massive. They were able to plug the "massive" leak but had to stop due to getting to the maximum allowable time for radiation exposure. Hopefully this makes him feel good enough so he doesn't need the remaining leaks plugged. If they need to go back in, it'll be two weeks to a month wait. He may be coming home on Sunday.

great news. my dad has small leaks and they just check every 6 months to keep track. hope maybe your dad can be in same position. glad surgery went well

Well a big learning curve ahead.
Ultra gauge programmed in truck.
Have downloaded the extra gauges.
Had 7 different transmission choices.
Found two that would connect.
Problem is one says transmission.
The other says transmission cvt.
Temps are different so I know it’s reading
Did not say pan, line, etc.
So I’m thinking that trans is the trans temp and cvt maybe the torque converter.
But it reading trans so I’m happy with that.

Lots of options to scroll gauges.
All custom colors.
All types of gauges.

Hopefully they can get a handle on this soon.

 

This fire is in old growth and on 50° slopes up to over 9k ft

Going to be extremely hard for hand crews or use Bulldozers , it'll have to be fought from the air using Phos-Chek and water drops

 

I have one to keep my room cooler

I'm on the North side of the San Bernardino mtns maybe 25miles from the fire . I'm just a mile or two from the Mariana's foothills near Hwy 38

 

How’s your ac doing? Hopefully they were able to fix it.
