    Military NonComs (enlisted Sergeants) use the preface phrase “with all due respect”. The last 10 years of my active duty career I mastered my inflection whereas a few Colonels I worked for would actually cringe a little when I said it. They knew they weren’t going to like it, but they needed to hear it. :)
